Compose Yourself: High School Composer Competition

An international high school composer competition.

Our 2014 competition received 56 submissions from around the world; six finalists from Texas, Indiana, Toronto, Massachusetts, LA and Seoul, South Korea; a prestigious Jury comprised of composers Larry Polansky, Elinor Armer, choral advocate and TV/movie producer Deke Sharon, and musician and journalist Cynthia Mei. The awards ceremony and concert was held during our Sweet Thunder Festival, with the three awardees and one runner-up in attendance.
